Jan Ann Visits Redneck Sister

Hi there, this is Jan Ann. I am visiting my redneck sis, Jan Fran and I sure am having a good time. Last night we had a great time catching up. Looking around her yard as we sat near the fire in the BBQ pit, there is no question that my sis is a redneck as I sat in her redneck yard watching TV on the porch!

I kept her and Woody up late last night and she slept in this morning. When I got up this morning I found her pile of The Three Oaks Herald, it is the local paper here. I come from a much bigger town (small city) and usually read the local paper in the morning. Here, the paper comes out weekly. I was quite entertained with the paper as I read through it. I just can’t imagine seeing some of the news I read in the Three Oaks Herald in my daily newspaper back home!

Their local school lunch menu is posted in the paper. The best part of the paper is the Three Oaks Sheriff’s Report. It notes just about every call!!!! I will write more about this soon. I did convince my sis to include a sheriff’s report in her blog!

Well, I just heard the screen door squeak and the dog bark…I think my sis’ best buddy, JD is here to get the BBQ started. After dinner we are going go out drinking tonight. I promised my sis not to order anything that will embarrass her, like a vodka tonic with lime, at the bar, guess it’ll be beer tonight…I just can’t handle those shots of Jack with them.

This Redneck Missed You

Idaho Sept 2010 562

Wuz over at the neighbor folks and we got on their computer. They have the most comfy redneck computer “chair”…they use a duffel bag. They are as cute as bugs, them two. Anyways… gettin on the computer got me a thinkin about this here redneck blog and then I started a missin’ writin.

I can’t believe it has been SO long since this redneck girl has been here a writin’. I have been busy with workin’ and with Woody and have neglected this here blog. I even neglected my redneck yard. The yard looks better than an old man with no teeth anyways! That is the good thing ’bout redneck yards…they don’t need much look’n after.

JD is still around. He’s as much fun as ever! Me ‘n Woody are still a going strong. Him and JD got to going out a drinkin’ together. Have had to have a talk’n to with JD so he don’t go leadin my man astray!

Will try to stop by and be writin more often again. Hope you all are doing good and as happy as a flea at a dog kennel!
