Jan Fran’s Redneck Yard

I finally got ’round to picking a fancy new theme (that’s internet jargon for the pictures and colors on this here blog) for the Redneck Yard and some of it don’t work right. Be patient please. I got that nephew of mine on it. I might have to go pick me a new theme. I’m gonna wait to hear from him first.

It’s gitt’n hot here in AZ. Good tanning weather while I do me some yard work. I have some more pics of the yard and more gardening updates fer you all, but I need to git to work right now. I jest didn’t want anyone alarmed that the blog isn’t work quite right.

Just a little teaser……got some pics of the weeds completely withered! They are looking all crusty and brown. I’ll try to make time for posting a pic soon. Jest don’t let JD know I’m taking pics of those weeds dying. It’s just about time to start raking the dead weed carcasses, maybe this weekend.

I jest sprayed my weeds in my redneck yard, today with that there weed killer I saw on TV. I had my buddy JD read them there directions to me. It said to spray on only actively grow’n weeds. I bet it’s those city folks that are spray’n weeds that have already dun and died. JD didn’t haveta read that part to me. He just did anyways so we could get us a chuckle.
JD is think’n that I have a devil streak to me cuz I spray them there weeds and jest wait fer them to die. He’s in his yard digg’n up his weeds. I’m think’n that’s too much work. I truely get no pleasure seeing them there weeds turn’n yella. Well, I did take a couple pics of those little suckers withering in my redneck yard. I like to look at those pics when I am pluck’n a goat head sticker outta my foot. I didn’t tell that to ‘ol JD though, he might really be believ’n I’m evil fer sure if he knew. Well, here’s a picture on one of those weeds a week after I sprayed it.
